Our People

The people building Africa's child health intelligence infrastructure.

Researchers, clinicians, innovators, and community leaders — organised across four bodies: a Board of Trustees, a Scientific Advisory Board, a Founding Circle, and our operating team.

Dr. Semnen Lambert Osakue

Founder & Chair of Trustees

A medical doctor and public health specialist, Dr. Osakue founded the Foundation to close the gap between what the evidence shows and what African families actually receive — focused on prevention, nutrition, and evidence-based support built for African contexts.

01 — Board of Trustees

The Scientific Advisory Board is being constituted. Members offer technical guidance without formal governance obligations.

03 — Founding Circle

A community, not a hierarchy.

A multidisciplinary group of researchers, clinicians, educators, innovators, and community leaders helping shape the Foundation during its formative years.

The Founding Circle is a prestigious but flexible recognition — allowing distinguished collaborators from APHRC, universities, UNICEF, ministries, and other institutions to support KHHA Foundation without immediate governance obligations, while creating a natural pathway into more formal leadership as the organisation matures.

"The Founding Circle contributes expertise, challenges our assumptions, and helps strengthen our long-term vision for child health across Africa."
